Does the T6 Ocean have a waste water overflow outlet?

Hello everyone, I’m a relative newbie to the T6. We’re loving it, and I’ve figured most things out. One lingering question though … what happens if or when the waste water tank gets full? Does it have an overflow? And does that come out of the same pipe that the waste water comes out of when you open the valve? Or does the sink just not drain? I can see how it could be easy to keep the fresh water tank full but forget to empty the waste water (a tap and hose are easier to come by than a waste water collection site!). Thanks for any info.

Yes, overflow trough the same oulet.
As an add on, I found that the level sensor in my tank (which only shows on the overhead display in the T6 as the tank having capacity or tank full) was not registering full even when overflowing rather embarrassingly on CCC site pitch

On returning home opened the round inspection hatch (after emptying tank) and found that the metal float was stuck to the sensor shaft with food debris/ oil emulsion.

Cleaned and recommissioned tank then flushed with soapy hot water until overflowing resolved matters including food debris.

I do this as part of a winter prep drain down of water and waste tanks and no repeat after 2 years

Just to show the level gauge for waste water in the control system not display.

I found that between the sensor triggering and showing full and the tank overflowing was one basin full after the sensor triggered and showed on the display as full.

Doing some post trip clear out today I noticed some water leaking from the bottom of this part. The tank was obviously full but appeared empty on the display. Does this circular part unscrew for cleaning?

Yes but understand this.
Water leaking could be from the seal on this access point or water from higher up due to the sliding window seal and or blocked drain.

On no account unscrew this until you know for sure that the waste tank is empty.
I have twice had the float sensor in the tank stuck down so that even with water overflowing from the tank outlet (yes it does have an overflow pipe at the top on the left that bypasses the valve in the bottom of the left hand cupboard) the display did not show the tank as full.

Please open the valve and then flush fresh water into the tank using either the water in the fresh water tank via the tap or a bucket of water or 2 into the sink.

I f you get a large quantity of water out of the waste outlet let it stop draining and you should be good to remove the access trap and clean the seal then use a plumbing silicone grease and refit

Thanks for the advice. It seemed to drain OK and sounds hollow when I knock it. The leak stopped after I emptied it. I'll give it a go some day next week when I get a bit of spare time

Hi I just found this very interesting post - my T6 waste tank too always shows empty - has anyone pics or drawings of what I should attempt to clean to regain the empty-or-full functionality please?

1) Drain tank !!
2) Locate access hatch right hand cupboard

3 Open.but it may need angled adjustable grips to give enough leverage to start unscrewing.
NB the hatch is translucent so if you want to make sure that there is no water above the lip of the opening a bright torch beam will quickly reveal.
4 Remove the drawer to reveal the top of the tank you can see the sensor shaft connection.

Just feel for this shaft inside the tank via the access hatch and remove any crud. You should be able to feel a metal float around the shaft and make sure it is free to move up and down the shaft.
5 Push to top and get someone to watch the display for the Tank full indication.
6Job done , re assemble and check for any leaks at the hatch.
I use a water safe silicone grease to help the seal be water tight.
