Waste Water tank sensor is stuck

The waste water sensor on our 2007 California seems to be stuck on showing full, even if the waste tank is empty. Sometimes it flips to a lower setting, so is not stuck on full all the time.

Does anyone know of a recommended cleaning / flushing fluid we can put in the free up the sensor?
