Our 23 plate Ocean is plugged in at home as haven't used van for a month and batteries at 70%. Been on for over 12 hours but still at 70%. Charging light is showing in display, switches are on in rear cupboard and kettle style plug is secure. Briefly went out in it yesterday, using boost button which got it to 80%, but gone down to 70 overnight although hooked up. We also have 100W solar panel.
Anything else I can check?

Just to add I've checked the fuse on the rear battery and it appears intact. To check the under seat fuse I assume you need to remove battery? Is this possible with seat in place, looks a very small gap to get it through even with seat fully forward?

What is remaining time and current draw on control panel ? Photo if possible.
Your profile says GC 680 , you have both T6.1 ocean and Grand california ?
To gain better access to the battery under the front seat, you can unscrew it and tilt it forward. The airbag wiring must not come loose during this process. If necessary, secure the seat to the steering wheel with a strap.

Is the three pin plug on the end of the kitchen getting power?

Certainly sounds like a fuse. Have you checked the Cube Fuse/s for continuity?

The charger located above the leisure battery in rear cupboard also has a fuse.

Last year I changed the leisure batteries myself after 10 years use on my T5 California. After this, just before a holiday to Shetland/Orkney, I found that plugged in was not charging. I immediately took the VW to Breeze Havant. In 10 mins they (brilliantly) found that with replacing the rear leisure battery I had inadvertently dislodged the 3 pin plug to the inverter which is above that battery. They pushed it back, said "It's your lucky day" and did not charge me.

I was curious so went and looked at a wiring diagram. My take.

1 - The “charging” light is just a light that tells you the EHU is plugged in and powering the van. It is not per sey a charging light.
2 - (I think) When on EHU the leisures are bypassed and only EHU is used. So if you are getting power at fridge etc, it’s working. All this it seems is controlled by the unit above the battery. This unit will also determine is a trickle is needed to the leisures and starter and control that utilising the relay if needed.
Note - all point 2 could be wrong but it would seem odd to charge and discharge the batteries all the time when on EHU.
3 - If you are getting power to everything BUT the leisures are not charging, the fault lies in this unit. I would say either:
- The 3 pin is still not fully in
- The/a fuse is blown. Check the for continuity as well as visibly
- The unit itself is goosed and needs replacing

Given the leisures are still powering the van when not on EHU my best bet remains with the first 2.

I’m not an electrician, just an enthusiastic amateur, so would welcome all corrections, especially from @LandT

When on EHU power the Leisure electrics are still powered via the Leisure batteries which are being charged from the Mains charger as required.

The unit you are referring is a Mains 230v battery charger not an inverter . The only Inverter on the California is on the base of the B pillar by the kitchen unit on the T5/6 or drivers seat base next to the handbrake on the T6.1.
