Hi

Falling at the mercy of those of you who may know a bit more about our Vw Cali . We have done the following issues

- fridge not working on hook up or whilst driving
- leisure batteries not charging when driving
- roof not wanting to work ( although this may be a separate issue )

We have done the following

Fuses under seat replaced if not working
Split relay has also been replaced (this afternoon)
Fridge working when powered independently
Batteries are healthy

Fault codes 3101 and 3001

Please help us avoid a costly and frustrating trip to a vw dealership .

Thanks in anticipation of your ideas . Photos would be great .

So is the Spli Charge relay now working?

Have you cleared the Diagnostic Codes on the Control Panel?

Check Control Panel Diagnostics.

Control Panel Off and wait 30 secs

Control Panel On

Press and Hold R lower button and then press Control Knob for 5 secs.

New Hidden Menu . Scroll to VW Diagnostics.

If there are any codes shown, take note and then Reset/Clear, using R lower button.

Return to Main Menu.

Switch Off Control Panel using L lower button. Wait 30 secs and Switch On.

Try Roof/Heater or Fridge

Firstly many thanks for replying on a Sunday afternoon .
Fault code that is left is 3101 . When turning on the fridge I can hear something clicking at the back of the van . Unfortunately fridge still not working

There is a Fuse Layout pdf in the Resources Section of the Forum.
That fuse is located in Fuse Box SA, which is in the engine compartment below the engine battery.
