Should I be worried

Due to pick up my VW owned low milage Oct 2025 T7 California Ocean on Friday. Dealer just phone to say the vehicle is in the workshop for a service, and the usual checks before handover.
They have found the 2 leisure batteries are not holding their charge as they should, so are going to replace both.
Is there anything else I should be asking them about the batteries.??

I bought a 2026 Ocean from Poole in June; the leisure batteries weren’t being charged. Took it straight back and they replaced a faulty relay (known issue apparently). No issues since.

It’s things like that that really take the gloss off of what should be a really exciting time. However, perhaps comforting that the vehicle received a proper pre-sales check? Good luck and let us know how it goes.

As @acer has pointed out, I’d be pleased that the dealer appears to be thorough in checking over pre-handover and are quick to remedy. All the best for when you get the Cali

Don’t get me wrong, I’ve had a couple of those myself, albeit over the past 11 years, but my point was that I’d have loved some of my issues being picked up at presales checks.
