Hi,

The infotainment screen of my 2017 California Ocean has developed a rather large bubble across the top and down the right side. It was stored under a breathable cover for 4 months. There was no evidence of this before storage.

The screen still functions normally but it is annoying. I am curious as to whether this will simply disappear once the van has been exposed to warmer conditions.

Has anyone experienced this and does it right itself over time?

Please see attached photo.IMG_1388.jpeg

Thank you in advance.

You could try a hair dryer on a strong setting - but moving it about (not keeping it in one place).
Maybe then the heat applied could make that dry up - or even when you are doing that with the hair dryer - use the edge of a store card / ccard to softly push the bubble to the edge.

Not taking responsibility that it will fix it or making it worse - but you can try that instead of waiting for warmer conditions.

I am sure someone will comment to say if the screen is fixable or not. :)

Edited :
Sat Nav Systems Surbiton, - give them a call , they can do it at their premises or via postal service.

They will advise how to get the unit out and post it.

Did you change the screen or overlay new on old ?

You lay the screen on the old one. The original is bonded to the display. There is room and you can't tell once done
