Hi everyone!

I’m Aron Klaus Frey and i need your help.
I have just bought a T6 California Ocean and the latch on the under-seat drawer is misaligned (like on the picture).

Is it possible to dismantle the latch and realign it?

Thanks for the pieces of advice in advance!

Best wishes,
Klaus

This may help.
Personally I would just lift it up and push it to the Right until straight.

Thanks a lot for this diagram! It will surely help when i get to the job.

In the meantime, i have found a thread with the same question.
The owner dismantled the latch and had difficulty to put it together.
So i may try to bend it on spot

It will be a lot easier.

Hi, lift up the lever and push towards the sink. Often have to do that in my T5.1 as it seems to want to foul the main drawer lever

I’ve done this. It’s Allen keys and superglue to fix it. Loosen bolts, realign and tighten with a blob of glue.
If you can’t get access you may need to cut the strap that holds the seat bottom in place. It’s not needed.

Hi, I have the same issue. I've tried the lift and bend to no avail. If you do get it sorted I'd appreciate any tips. Than you!

My advice is dont take it to bits. I stripped mine, straightened the weak bracket and rebuilt . The return spring has to be preloaded to spring the handle back which is the worst job ever. Handle is out of alignment again after a bit of use!

The best advice is to get used to it. To have it properly some reconstruction of the drawer lock is needed. The lock mechanic is very sturdy to ensure that the heavy metal drover doesn't hit people traveling on bench, If you do some reconstruction do it carefully.

I tried to realign it by pushing back to its original position. No success. I mean, I don’t want to break the lever.
I have to collect the courage to take it into pieces.
