T7 - Window Storage Bag, what do you use it for?

Hi all,

I've had my T7 Ocean since March 2026 and still loving the new California and had plenty of trips away solo, couple and family adventures. Whilst I admit the T7 does have some storage challenges, I've adapted from my T6 and happy just to do things differently (e.g. pack less :) ).

One area I struggle is making any use of the window bag, I've almost never used it and cannot find a good use for it yet. Currently I only store the downstairs bed sheet packed inside but otherwise zero usage. I find it difficult to access, and have considered organising the zip to be installed the other way, i.e. opens at the top so the flap drops OR I might replace it with the Nord bag - seems better design.

So interested in if/how others might use it and share any useful ideas and help make better use of the available storage.

Thanks,
Matt

Take out the dividers and fill it up with packing cubes, the wife gets loads of stuff in it, cutt along the stitching and completely remove the pockets makes it a big space to get loads in

I kept the dividers. One side I use for warm winter clothes, such as socks, mittens, wool sweater and rain coat. I carry them all year round. You never know when a cold weather hits especially at altitude..

The other one I use for sports clothes, running and hiking stuff etc..

My wife fits loads of her stuff in it now, she calls it the Madonna bag……….. material girl :D

I put spare toilet rolls to the rear of the window storage bag, and the front side window blinds to the front. I keep wet tissue stocks, and paper hankies there too. I also keep sundry electrical chargers etc in the front end.
My vehicle is a T6.1.
