Looking for some help re. our hybrid battery. When its fully charged and in hybrid mode it runs down as if its in electric mode. This happens every time we drive it in hybrid mode and it literally runs down according to the kilometers travelled. The petrol kms display stays constant and the hybrid battery runs down. We have a hybrid car and when it is in hybrid mode it uses a combination of both petrol and battery which is the way it should be in my view. With our car we can even increase the kms on the battery when travelling long distancesso we are really puzzled as to why the T7 just runs down the battery in hybrid mode and even in ECO mode. Would it be a fault?
Anyone have any advice??

The only way I have been able to protect my battery for later use is to manually lock in the charge level via the infotainment system.

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Access Drive Modes: On your central infotainment touchscreen, navigate to the Drive Modes or Profile menu.
  2. Switch to Hybrid Mode: Select Hybrid mode instead of E-Mode.
  3. Set the Battery Target: You will see a graphic or slider representing your current battery state of charge. Tap "Set Manually"
  4. Lock the Level: Use the slider or arrows to select the percentage of battery you want to save (e.g., maintaining it at its current level or setting a specific reserve like 50%).
  5. Exit Properly: Once you adjust the slider to your desired target, exit the screen by hitting the Home button. Avoid tapping "Set Manually" again after adjusting, as on some software versions this can inadvertently cancel your manual override and revert the vehicle back to standard hybrid management.
Once active, the internal combustion engine and regenerative braking will work together to keep the hybrid battery at or above your selected threshold for the rest of your trip. Note that this configuration resets every time you turn off the ignition, so you will need to re-engage it at the start of a long drive.

Normally I found petrol does not kick in until about 40/45mph & so if start on slow journey it does run down electric fast.
On the bright side I have seen range up to 65miles after charging.
