Rattle from backshelf - Beach Tour

Hi,

I am happy owner of T7 - Beach Tour for 4 months. So far no problem with battery…. But noise from the bach shelf really anoise me. I have 19’’ wheels that I know are helping with this isues. Anyway I still think that noise from back shelf is not accepted for the money this car costs. Did anybody else had this problems? How didi you dolve it?

Lift the shelf and pop some felt pads down.
It’s a case of test, put more felt down and test again.
I’ll be collecting my new beach tomorrow so fingers crossed I won’t be having any rattles.
But I usually find them and quieten them.
Took 4 months in my 7.4m Laika MoHo.
But that’s quiet now with no rattles, and with a million items to rattle in a Moho is pretty good !

A friend works at vw dealer. He told me, that if a rattle annoys me, I shall do a warranty claim. They just investigate. But thebrettles are treated seriously only within the first 6 months after purchase. After this time they might consider it as a normal wear and tear.
