Jammed door

Hi all. We’ve come away with friends who are in their 6.1 Coast. On the way, they had an issue where the sliding door wouldn’t close normally. Lots of road noise and air coming in. A big slam later and the door did close so they were able to continue their journey. The door is now jammed shut. The edge of the door by the handle is sitting slightly proud - before the big slam, the gap seemed to be towards the rear. It’s safe to travel and they have arranged an appointment to get it fixed next week. But does anyone have any suggestions on what it might be? Getting in and out of the van is via the front doors, which is fine as we’re away for just the weekend. But if there’s a quick fix, that would be great.

try:-
pulling the door handle twice with ignition on, alledgedly resets the lock.
At the rear of the door at the bottom see if the little hook latch is visible or hidden under door, it should be visible when the door is open. mine stuck and operating the door handle twice reset it and hey presto the door worked again.

Thanks, Capt Kirk. Unfortunately, that wasn’t the issue. No idea what caused it. He’ll find out on Wednesday at the garage. Everyone home safe and well. Again, we appreciated the reply.
