If cost doesn't bother you I would suggest the HP Cadac with the small disposable threaded gas cartridges, convenient, light and go anywhere, NO compromise.
Me? well I am tight fisted and hate to part with any more money than iI have to! So in our case we use the LP Cadac from the 907 in the van or a spare that we sometimes carry. I have acquired the kit to refill the 907 at home (not rocket science but does require care and consideration for safety) which brings the price per kg of butane down from £18/kg to £3.50/kg and I never worry about the exorbitant price of 907 refills

. For use at home in the garden I have a refillable Propane cylinder and a separate gas hose with propane regulator attached. The Cadac we have has QR fittings so easy to change over and use either type of gas.
The average cost of gas in the HP cartridges is around £18/kg too
A side note for you: Both the LP and HP Cadac cookers can be converted to use either the HP cartridge or LP 907, you just need an adapter to fit accordingly
