EcoFlow 800w alternator

Hi all,

I’ve recently installed an EcoFlow 800W Alternator Charger in my 2023 VW California Ocean 4Motion and it’s charging at around 70A - 800w.

I’m trying to find out exactly what alternator is fitted from the factory. I’ve seen various figures mentioned online, including 180A and 250A, but can’t find a definitive answer for my van.

Can anyone confirm the alternator rating fitted to a UK-spec 2023 California Ocean 4Motion (204PS DSG)?

Also, if you’re running the 800w EF alternator what charge rate are you using ? is maxing out the 800w ok ?
