My first ever meet !!! really looking forward to meeting you all
Only four legged fury ones !!Hey , anyone got teenagers or kids coming to the meet ?
Happy to pay them a tenner to look after our 3 year oldHey , anyone got teenagers or kids coming to the meet ?
Hi Martin,
On Friday will you be coming around to introduce yourself ?
Also are there any plans to gather up the bar/club house.
On Friday night there is live music from 7pm. I don't think there will be anything on the Sat night. Unless they are playing sport on the big screen ?
And FYI for other people who are going - i see that down in West Bay on Saturday there is going to be two open air markets.
Cya all Friday![]()

Looking forward to the meet up at the weekend and glad that the weather is looking kinder to us than last year.
This will be our first club meet and first visit to Highlands. Is it just a case of turning up and bagging whichever gravel pitch we like the look of (believe we have electric hookup also)?
In addition we have friends joining us in their Cali also. If they are later arriving than us, is it acceptable for us to 'reserve' them a pitch next to use by putting our chairs on it until they arrive?
Thanks in advance
Craig
Is anyone waiting to take a space for this weekend? Unfortunately Ed has pulled his back and we don’t think we’ll make it. We paid £90 for 3 night so we’re open to offers- plus we need to pay £25 to change names. Let me know…
I assumed that we would park nose in on the left freeing up space on the right for awnings etc. Hopefully someone who has been before will clarify for us.Sorry for stupid question:
If I’ve read the rules right about parking on the left of the pitch, I’m a bit stumped. In the VW California, the sliding door and the wind-out awning are on the offside (the driver’s side).
If I reverse in and tuck myself over to the left as requested, my door and awning will be opening directly onto the grass rather than the hardstanding (would rather not if it rains or is already wet/muddy!). Is that how it’s supposed to work, or have I completely got the wrong end of the stick with the site layout?
Thanks
