Creaking noise above sun visors/info consol

Cali T6 DSG 4Motion. I have a very loud creaking noise when I drive over bumpy or cambered roads, not so bad on smooth surfaced roads. The noise appears to come from somewhere above the window screen sun visors/info screen area.
There is nothing loose internally in that area and I have checked that the elevating roof functions ok. I have applied silicone spray to all the rubber seals in and around the roof I have also been to the VW garage and they had no idea!!!
Any ideas greatly appreciated.

thank you, I have read all those threads and will take the info to the VW dealer to see what they think. Last time they were adament that it was something to do with the pop up roof but didn't know what!
