Creaking swivel front seats

Whilst I don't have a GC I do have factory installed swivel seats. These were part of a bespoke order for our MAN TGE and are 'Comfort' seats i.e. they have front squab height adjustment, electric lumbar supports, arm rests both sides and are heated. I assume a GC is fitted with these seats as standard. The camper was converted when new and has done 25,000 miles all in our ownership.

On the current Extended French holiday both front seats have developed an annoying creaking noise in almost any position driving or swivelled when the sitting person even slightly changes position.

My question to other GC owners is, do you have the same noise from your seats and if so have you had it rectified under warranty? Our van has an extended warranty so it may be worth asking I guess it may be pushing my luck with MAN.

The seats you describe are fitted as standard in the Grand California.
I have not experienced any creaking in my GC, which I’ve had for the last 4 years.
I also have not heard anyone comment about this on the VWGCUK Facebook group either.

Hope you get them fixed, as there’s nothing more anyone than squeaks and creaks!

Thanks for your comments, I just wondered if it was a known problem. If MAN won't play ball at fixing them I'll do my best to fix them myself.
I guessed that they would be the same as yours in a GC, in the options lists they were referred to as the 'Comfort' option and the best that were available with the swivel. The suspended ones don't have the swivel option without going for and after market swivel of which I think there is only one manufacturer.
My personal opinion of genuine VW seats, and I've had a few, is that they are excellent both in quality and comfort.
I'm using a genuine van double passengers seat in the rear of this camper conversion and as you'd imagine each seat is a bit narrow and the seatbelt receivers (genuine ones) don't fold away like the front ones do so can be a bit hard on the nether regions!

I have had this problem on a 2020 GC 600 9K miles. There are eight bolts with square nuts under the seat. Basically two in each corner which attach the seat to the swivel. I sprayed these with WD40. The squeak went away. I think a long term fix is take them out and put a bit of grease on them as the squeak has returned or just keep spraying them. Hope this helps.
