Cover/protection for rear seats when flat

I’m loving my t6.1 ocean! I need to transport a surfboard in the van which best fits by having the rear seats in bed mode and lying it on the bed. Im looking for something to protect the seat/bed from sand/water and haven’t come across anything purpose made yet that would offer protection when the seats are flat. Does anyone have any suggestions please?

Cheap solution : A load of old bedding sheets sat on top of some plastic dustbin bags
Neater solution : A waterproof surfboard bag. Circa £35/£45 online from loads of places including Decathlon.

A cheap fitted double bed sheet? Pop it over and chuck the board in.

I have a shower curtain, which I use if transporting anything which may leave marks on the seat/bed.
