7 seat Beach bed

Converting my Beach from 5 seat camping mode to 7 seat MPV mode, I decided to play around with the options for making the lower bed with all five rear seats. For size reference, the mattress photographed is 150 x 200 cm.

Remove all five headrests

#1 short bed: shortened multiflex, bench seat in table mode.

#2 Medium bed: extended multiflex, bench seat in table mode

There are, of course, other ways to make the bed. You could make an ultra long bed by removing part of the floor rails to push the single seats further forward, and then make the #3 bed but with an extended multiflex. Useful for giants.

Or you could leave out the multiflex altogether and make the bed with the bench in bed mode pushed fully back and the two single seats. I think this would make a useful size bed with plenty of cabin space.

@Amarillo - where can I get flooring like the one you have in these photos? I have a Multivan T6.1, but it has carpet an gets filthy quickly with one trip. I need to make a plan to get flooring like yours. Thanks.

Hi not @Amarillo, but that is standard factor fit flooring from VW.
If you are looking for flooring for a conversion on the van then the T6forum is a good place to look.

Thanks @Georgeo. I've been Googling where to find factory fit VW flooring such as this, but to no avail yet. Nothing on FB marketplace either. Not really looking to do a major conversion, I just want to replace the factory carpets in my Multivan T6.1 with these instead. Easier to clean, and hard wearing. Any ideas where I can purchase from please?
