Good morning, I have a 2024 VW California Ocean 6.1.

Good afternoon, I have a 2024 VW California Ocean 6.1.

Since the first year, the auxiliary batteries haven't worked properly, and the control unit has shown a decreasing range in hours, even when connected to a campsite's electrical grid.

Last May, I took it to the Volkswagen dealership in Pamplona, and after they tested it for three weeks, it has had the same problems again. It's been happening ever since, and I have to take it back to the dealership on May 18th.

This is the main problem that has appeared with the van, but it has a few others.

I would like to share information with other owners of a Volkswagen California like mine.

No idea what they did for 3 weeks. Given it’s 2024 it’s very unlikely the batteries are goosed - more likely they are not being charged by the EHU. EIther way you are warranted - they need to fix it, not test it.

@WelshGas will come along and tell you what to check.

Share more information about the symptoms..
Do the batteries charge while driving ?
When on EHU do batteries charge when no load ?
I am not a fan of cluedo game unless you tell us more there is little we can help.
LandT made a good drawing with all fuses involved , can you check ?
