Hi all,

Bought a second hand t6.1 ocean recently. Vehicle was delivered on past wednesday. It was raining heavely that day so I didn’t open the pop top to check it.
Yesterday I opened the pop top and noticed that the inside roof is wet. The matress doesn’t look that good either but this one was dry.

I bought it from a dealer so I have warrantee and told me he will fix it.
Nevertheless I wan’t to know if anyone suffered this problem? Can’t seem to find anything like it on the forum.
Dealer said he checked all the draines and thinks it might come from the roof rails…

Looking at the location I’d pop the roof down and look for leaks in that area and check the seal. Could be a number of things - the seal might have gone there, in which case the dealer would need to just replace the seal. It could also be that the PO left something at the back there, closed the roof and it’s caused the issue. Which is a bigger concern, but roof leaks are normally (especially on yoru later bellows) when up, or the front/back drains. Back drains easy to check. If they blocked the water can pool in the rear of the channels, more or less where it looks like the leak is. Either way the dealer would need to replace the water damaged mattress and clean up the stain on the roof.

Have a browse here. Alas the OP never posted the outcome...

Already looked for that but on the roof rails there’s no such cap. Probably only with the t5 or t6 but not the t6.1.

After today it should be dry and I will test by pooring water over it later today.

That's a T5

That reply is but start at the beginning of the thread and the affected vehicle is a T6.1.

It's unfortunate the link goes to Page 2

Update: When I got home, everything was dry. I closed the roof and checked to see if everything looked fine. Then, I poured about 3 liters of water into the roof rail channel. When I opened the roof again, there was water sitting in the corner that had dripped from above.
