T5 radio stuck in welcome loop

My 2014 cali radio is stuck in the welcome loop. I’m thinking of aftermarket replacement that will retain satnav and parking sensor display. Is there a plug & play option for this as a replacement or what have others done? Thanks

Have you tried a software reset.
Use 2nd method in the video below.

Yes, tried that. Nil effect. The reboot loop it’s stuck in seems to render all buttons void. My choice would be to have the vw unit functioning again as opposed to aftermarket. (I think!)

SatNav Systems , who made that video, can probably fix your system. Worth a call.

Guys, I removed and posted the radio to https://navitex.co.uk/repair-service/vw-rns510-sat-nav-repair-service/
Paid my £161 for a service/repair including overnight postage. Received the unit yesterday, refitted it last night and all is well. Excellent turnaround when I was prepared to spend £1200+ on a non vw replacement. Extra pompadoms for me tonight! Navitex thoroughly recommended.
