LV Britannia Breakdown Insurance

We're in the South of France at the moment, and suffered a turbo failure. We're with LV Britannia Breakdown and put a call into them. They have been simply brilliant, arranging (and paying) for taxis and a 3 night hotel stay while the problem was fixed with a local Avignon garage. Funnily enough the garage whipped out an invoice for a 2013 UK California to show us the likely cost of the repair! Can't fault Britannia - they chased up the garage, and rang us at each stage to check how we were doing. Anyway heading back tomorrow - but highly recommend Britannia.

Thanks for the post. I'm in the market for new breakdown insurance cover and was looking at Britannia Rescue. I haven't been at all happy with the one I have now. This helps.

Add annual UK / Euro breakdown to your van insurance. Should cost approx £100 for annual cover. Should be able to add retrospectively if you have already renewed van insurance.

I've been with Britannia for over 30 years and they have never let me down. My T6 had a failure of the start battery once and although I swapped the leisure battery over and fixed the problem before they arrived, they insisted following me home to make sure there were no further problems on my journey. They are simply great.
