Hello everyone!

As a newcomer to the forum, I’d like to introduce myself and our trusty travel companion: Nami!

It’s a 2023 California T6.1 Coast, bought used with 17,000 km on the clock.

We’re gradually getting the hang of things and customizing the interior to make it even cozier and more pleasant for daily use. So far, we have:

Laid down new linoleum flooring over the original to protect it and make cleaning easier.

Installed custom-made faux leather seat covers to enhance the look and preserve the upholstery.

We have other modifications and small tweaks planned to fine-tune our setup. I look forward to chatting with you, sharing our experiences, and picking up some great ideas!

See you on the road!

Thanks, that's very kind. The ideas are my wife's, and I do the hands-on work.

That’s really good. Two sided tape and then put the Lino on top?
What have you covered the hob/sink lids/table with?
Where did you get the seat covers from and how much?
Sorry, so many questions!

No worries about the questions It’s always helpful and sparks new ideas. I’m happy when I find answers to posts that interest me

Yes, I degreased the floor (using household alcohol) and applied double-sided tape. I followed a tutorial to create a template using large-format (A0) paper before cutting the vinyl flooring—leaving an extra 3–4 mm so I could tuck it under the trim and rails.

For the marble effect, I used adhesive vinyl. I used the wet application method for the glass sections, as dry application resulted in too many air bubbles. Then, I trimmed along the edges with a fresh utility knife blade.

As for the seat covers : https://france-housses.fr/housse-si...swagen-t6-2-places-de-2015-a-aujourd-hui.html

Thank you so much! He's our little companion who follows us everywhere—a Shetland Sheepdog.
