Coast...

5 years on. Just out of warranty.
Best decision we ever made.
Manual roof is so worry free. No dipping or sticking.
Biggest problem I have is trying to value it each year for insurance! Never any for sale to compare it with.

Apart from the manual roof I really prefer the light oak interior on the Coast. Owned mine for 3.5 years and now has 23k km, all in vacation mode as its not a daily driver.

Another coast owner since 2022 - still loving it. Manual roof, light oak kitchen all great - and I can’t be the only person who doesn’t care less about LED headlights!! Best thing we ever bought, no regrets :)

You can have it all with the Edition option.....personally I've found the LED's are far superior in terms of illumination and gives the front end a more contemporary look.

Edition option not available in the UK & neither are Coasts anymore.
Yes LEDs are better but I didnt opt for them & I guess what you dont have you dont miss - not sure about the contemporary look though!

For me, they are much better -had led in my former Opel Grandland and miss it, didn’t expert the difference would be so much- but I like the basic look of the bulbs and didn’t order them because I thought led should be standard and didn’t want to pay the large amount of money for them. When I ordered my coast, LED was already standard in almost every other car. Only VW had to charge a lot of money for it on a coast (Belgium).
Anyway: I don’t have them and since we’ve been a lot in areas while traveling where more brightness was needed or wanted, I will either install different bulbs in the front lights clusters -e.g. Osram night breakers- or add extra lights in the grille. The standard lights are like candles, nothing more. Off cours everybody must find out for themselves if they find the standard lights adequate.
Oh, and I also prefer the light oak furniture.
