Hello,

Does anybody have facelift model house department fuse diagram?

Hello,

Does anybody have facelift model house department fuse diagram?
You will most likely be told that each vehicle is unique to its configuration, so unlikely to have one specific to your vehicle.

I’m sick to death of the electrics in my MY26 vehicle. The whole setup seems random. My internal display (next to the shower) stopped working. My main vehicle battery insists it’s always empty, although the vehicle starts every time. Flagged this to Liverpool Van centre back in June and the earliest they could look at it was second week of Aug.

I’m currently away in the vehicle. It’s always a game of get it to the pitch, plug it in try and get camping mode on asap before the vehicle shuts down because it thinks the main battery is dead.

I am of the opinion that the facelift vehicle is suffering major electrical failure.

I did see one post suggesting disconnecting the main battery for 5 mins to reset the onboard electrics, but this didn’t work for me.

In all honesty, I am totally unimpressed with my MY26 GC600 experience.

Oh and to finish back on the fuse layout, i am going to request a diagram for all onboard fuses specific to my vehicle when it goes in. This is something that VW will offer.

Asking an authorized service would have been my next step, and based on this information, it seems to be the only way to get a fuse diagram that is correct.

Our water pump stopped working, a message appeared on the screen next to the bathroom that some safety mechanism had been activated due to lack of water, even though there was about 80 liters of water. So to reset the fault message, I would have had to find the right fuse, now I removed everything one by one. Yes, that also reset it and I got the pump working, but the right diagram would have helped considerably.

In addition, we have also had enough other electrical problems, e.g. the starter battery did not last a week without being discharged. But after a few recalls and other warranty services, the faults have decreased. But a newer car would probably work more reliably...

Funny you should say.

The water pump error was the start if my issues. Yes, although full of water, the pump runs and then shuts off for protection. I removed a 5v fuse after seeing this in a thread on here and that reset the protection. It now appears 90% of the time, i get an air blockage in the water tank, which causes this issue. So i can only get water reliably by unscrewing the shower attachment and suck on the tube to drawer the water past the pump.

TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE.

So, as I said previously, I suspect these facelift vans are all suffering issues along these lines.

Sounds very familiar, we probably had an airlock at first, which prevented the pump from being used by the protection. It hasn't happened since, at least not yet, but we're waiting for it.

First we tried disconnecting and reconnecting the "blue switch", which is apparently a universal fix for almost any electrical problem on pre-facelift cars, but it had no effect on the reset.

Yes… the old ‘big red’ switch and blue connector fixes seem to have zero effect on this van.
