Hi all,
Well ive searched high and low everywhere in the van and still cant find the speaker. All sensors work, the front speaker works and no noise from the rear. I've looked around the gas locker , looked in the rear leisure battery compartment, removed the trim panel in the wardrobe, removed the B pillar trim panel , removed the rear light and no sign of the thing. I dont really want to start dismantling the rear wardrobe .
Loads of Internet searches reveal this problem but none have the solution.
Thanks in advance,
Andy

I believe it is the other side in the rear. Not the wardrobe side.

Just been out to see where the sound comes from in my van: it seems to be from the pillar behind the passenger seat, just by the seat belt upper mount. Hope this helps.

Sorry, please ignore that. I had assumed that there was only one speaker that did front and back. Doh!
Nah there's two, the front one is working , I can hear nothing from the rear

What AI says.

vw transporter rear parking sensors speaker location?

In a VW Transporter, the rear parking sensor speaker (buzzer) is typically located in the passenger-side upper B-pillar trim. However, depending on the specific model and trim (e.g., if you only have rear sensors and no front sensors), it may also be mounted under the dashboard on the driver's side, near the steering column. [1, 2, 3, 4]
Here is a breakdown of the speaker locations and how to access them:

1. Rear/B-Pillar Speaker
If your Transporter is equipped with both front and rear parking sensors, the rear buzzer is located behind the upper B-pillar trim on the passenger side. To reach it, you will generally need to carefully pull back or remove the trim panel between the front and rear doors. [1, 2]

Yeah this is all over the Internet Tony, unfortunately AI isnt actually very intelligent.. T5 gets grouped in with T5.1 etc, I'm hoping someone can speak from the experience of actually locating and replacing theirs on a T5

Thanks, but ive had the trim off the b pillar and it isnt there. I believe it may be there on later models
