Grand California Skylight replacement

Hi All,

Do any of you know if the skylight above the lounge area is a standard item so available from other parts dealers or a VW only part? I believe it comes as a cassette i.e. internal and external part.

I had to get mine done soon after I bought it and went back to the VW dealer who got it fitted in 2024 for £625

Despite the cost it is worth getting done professionally.
My experience is that these roof skylights often leak, if not fitted well, and it’s not obvious that there is a leak because it happens behind the gasket and into the roof lining only showing up later when damage is done.

Mine was done under a warranty call back. It’s worth checking.
