Help high pitched alarm type noise coming from back of 2011 California leaving for hols in the morning!

Morning would really appreciate some help on this please. We have a high pitched alarm type noise coming from the rear of our 2011 California. We had thought it was an aircon canister leaking but it’s still going 24 hrs later. We are supposed to be leaving for Belgium in the morning and have no idea how to stop it.

Any help gratefully received. Could it be the leisure battery it’s very low not used much though. We are charging it at the moment but it’s not helping matters. Maybe it’s something else at the rear? Sounds like an alarm. With everything closed for BH not sure what we can do.

We have taken out every fuse and it’s still going it appears to come from the right rearside

Does it go with the engine running?
Search the for a Welsh gas post giving details how to access the engineers page on your control panel - it hopefully will show the fault there.

It is. Only reliable if the engine has been off for a while and nothing turned on. As it is, it looks good.

Yes it does still sound when the engine is on

Do you have a tow bar with aftermarket wiring by any chance. There will be a small alarm buzzer type thing which should work with the indicators when a trailer is connected. Could be the culprit if it’s gone faulty.

Thanks we do I think it might be the cigarette lighter 2nd to last fuse we pulled out!
