California App update

Has anyone updated and tried using the new California App on an iOS device?

Now when I go into the online manual it is all in German as it's using the .de website for the info, anyone else have the same issue?

Mine did this a few years ago, vw said do this:-

1.First, please log in to VWID https://vwid.vwgroup.io/ with your username and password.
2. Scroll down to the "Connected apps" section.
3. On Volkswagen App, select "remove access".

You will then be automatically logged out of the Volkswagen App.

Please now open the Volkswagen app and log in again with your username and password.

Then allow the app to access the VWID again and you will be asked for your residence.

There, select your residence or the country you want to use.

Hope nothing has changed in the sequence.

Yes, same issue here and unfortunately the fix suggested above hasn’t worked for me. Oh, and the app seems to be as unreliable as ever, as far as I can work out.

Yes same here . To actually see the manual in English change language to English on top right drop down box on the German page . Nothing changes on that page but if press three lines and dots on right hand opens up manual in English. A very temporary clunky solution as have to re do each time

Sounds like a new update is needed. The problem I had several years ago, I don't think it happened to anybody else on the forum.
