I have a 2024 GC680, just had to cut short a trip because the central display unit and the Truma heating display unit both stopped working which also meant the heating stopped working. On checking the fuses I found the 1 amp fuse in the Technical cupboard had blown so I put in a new one. Both displays lit up for less than a minute and the fuse blew again. Has anyone else had this problem please? I've booked in a warranty repair with VW in Norwich in a couple of weeks but it would be handy if I could help them sorting it out.

Thank you very much, merci beaucoup! I will let you know what they say at the VW garage.

Hi There, How did it go at the garage? I'm currently experiencing the same problem. Both screens have gone black. I replaced the 1A fuse, and now the top screen works, but not the bottom one. I'm going to check if it's getting power to it. Is that a good idea? If so, I might need a new Truma bottom screen… Do you have any advice or suggestions from you issue?

Uncanny timing…

I’m currently away in my 2026 GC600 and after needing to remove the 5A fuse to reset the water pump protection (due to what I assume was an air lock in the system) my new-style control panel (and wc light switch) have stopped functioning. My Truma panel does however function and the wc light is also functioning via the iphone app.

Looking in the electrical cabinet in the rear garage, I cannot locate a 1A fuse and my fuse layout bares absolutely no resemblance to other layouts posted on this forum. I can’t possibly imagine what a 40A fuse is for.

Luckily most of the habitation functions can be operated by either the vehicle head unit or iphone app, so I am continuing with my vacation.

I’ve booked the vehicle in with Liverpool Van Centre, but their soonest availability is beginning of August?!

In the meantime I wonder whether anyone here has any ideas?

Thanks!

yes your fuse layout appears different to mine. Ours is a late 2020 model so possibly why. I've attached the fuse information I was able to find for our van.
