Stuck hook up

my hook up keeps getting stuck in the Cali hook up socket. Can only be removed by brute force. Not the cable as have tried others and they get stuck too. Is it easy to replace the hook up unit?

Are you pressing the blue release leaver before you try to remove it? You have to push it downwards which unhooks to socket from the plug.

Assuming you are pressing down the release lever, then I use a silicon spray to make the connector easier to remove.

Did it was this way from the beginning or is this a recent /new problem ?
What type of Cali do you have ? Seems you are a member since 2014 on the forum but no verhicle details....
Have you read your manual on how to use your Cali ?
It could be you are doing things wrong as stated above .
The hook-up unit on a T5/6 is fitted with four torx-screws only.
