Who's familiar with campsites in the Brienz and Lucerne region Switzerland?

I have a dillema....
Seen a couple of nice ones on line but struggling to be allowed to make a reservation for a couple of nights. They just seem to want poeple to turn up? the exception to this is a reservation for more than 7 days.
Do campsites in this region get busy mid to late august or is there likely to be room at the inn?

On the Brienzer See, a few years back:

It is close to a railway station on the line between Brienz (Rothornbahn!) and Interlaken.

Above Luzern (see the lake in the distance), the same trip:

They were both very small campsites, I don't think they do reservations. We just turned up, but that was early September, a bit later than you are planning for.
