Ok folks, I’m upside down, can’t really get my hands in under the seat properly either and the drive is so narrow I can’t open either door properly. I’m wary of taking all the fuses out looking for a duff one too in case I upset/reset something.

Rearmost 12v socket is dead. Any idea which one of these is the most likely culprit ? I have searched on here to no avail and most of the topics mention a 15A too, which I don’t seem to have.

I realise I could just work my way through but VW havent been kind enough to leave a puller in there so off to print my own but thought I’d ask.
P.s it’s neither of the 10s

‘22 Cali Ocean LHD

any advice will help my temporary Tourette’s no end.
Thank you in advance.

The fuse puller might/should be held in the cover of the fuse box at the steering wheel, at least that is where mine was/is.

If the fuse @Roger Boeken has been kind enough to highlight (above) turns out not to be the culprit
Try the 20amp fuses, VW seem to have a variable fuse layout when it comes to certain things.
Remember there are multiple 12v outlets in the rear, each will have its own fuse.

Edit, as you mention , the t6 has 15amp fuses for 12v socket outlets

indeed not easy since It depends on the year and month of manufacture and the exact equipment of the vehicle.
I believen for Ocean T6.1 it is as followes:
The 12V socket next to the rear seat (U19) and at the very back (U20) share the same 20A fuse SH7
Cigarettelighter U1 and 12v on top of dashboard U5 share 20A fuse SH6
12V in pop-up roof U118 and USB U38 on right side of kitchen share 20A fuse SH9.
USB 41 near cigarette lighter dashboard uses 10A fuse SC15 (under steering wheel)
I use schematics version 02/2021. 07/2023 03/2025

I have a 2021 Ocean and found that the rear 12v socket wasn't working the first time I tried to use it. After looking at the wiring diagram I also concluded that it shared a fuse with the socket by the bench seat and that socket was working find so that ruled out the fuse as the cause of the problem. I was just about to start taking off the panel which covers the HVAC unit in the back to check wiring to the socket but had another go at plugging something in - and it worked. It seems I have a very temperamental socket which is fussy about the orientation of the 12v plug. If you haven't already done so, use a multimeter to confirm whether or not your socket has power - you might just have a temperamental socket like mine.

Thanks for all your feedback folks - going to look when it’s light tomorrow and shall report back!
I 3d printed a fuse puller so I’ll have a spare in my spare box of fuses. It seemed less hassle than moving the van somewhere just so I could open the drivers door enough to pry the fuse box cover open. West london streets!
