Just a quick question I think, although you can never be sure of what might spark off on here:

Does anyone know why autoglym recommend to clean the wheels with their spray on wheel cleaner, working from the bottom of the wheel upwards? (See point 2 of the picture).

Too much of the expensive cleaner stuff finds its way onto the ground before I’ve had time to spread it about. I like to do it the other way around so that the cleaner runs down the wheel a bit before it hits the ground giving me time to swish it about. I’m sure that there’s a straightforward explanation.

By the way, yes, I really don’t have anything more important to think about right now! :D

No idea. I always take the wheels off to clean them. Order of magnitude easier/more effective.

So you use more?
I thought that too. If I use more, I’ll have to buy another bottle more quickly. But to ensure an earlier repeat sale, they’d have to think that I’m happy for the dribbly cleaner to do as good a job on my block-paving as on my wheels. (As it happens, I am, but they don’t know that).
