What have you bought for your Cali today :-)

We are getting sorted for our next big escape. I’ve been 3D printing a Starlink mount for the roof, and created a new spice rack for the shelf inside, above the fridge.

We also bought a mini fan, ready to cope with the heatwave we’ll be driving to!

The spice racks are a great idea. You should make some more and sell them on here……..

Got a Vango tempest pump to deflate the beds, I found out the hard way that it’s not the easiest thing to wriggle around like a maggot at my age to get the air out in a pop top. With all the grunting going on, everyone thought I was having a nice time.

For anyone investing in a Starlink mini, if there is enough interest from the club shop, these could be available to purchase. The main bracket slides on to a bracket you attach to your slide rails. Simply get it pointing in the right direction before you put the roof up. Once roof is up, it’s the perfect angle as long as your van is level. It also gets your Starlink mini high up out of the way.

I forgot to say, we will be at Camperjam in club camping if anyone wants to see one

struggling to get up to the pop bed, and with no room for a ladder, we have recently acquired a couple of really useful items for our new T7. Firstly, a step for hanging on the headrest - nothing new there but in combination with a 2nd item, makes a huge difference. The 2nd item is a folding equestrian step which just fits between the driver and passenger seats and is 0.5m high.

I had a great step up that I made and you could put over the headrest.
Can’t find it, now I bought another Cali.

New old fridge for the Beach.
A Waeco CCF-18 with 12v and 240v converter.
Even has the manuals as well.
Got from 30 to -4 in 35 minutes on the drive home, plugged into the 12v ecoflow.

Sounds interesting. We’ve got the headrest step - suppose you could post a picture of folding step being used?
