Water from water tank is tepid

We have noticed the cold water from the onboard tank is tepid. We have been using the aux heater quite a lot. I wonder if any other T7 Ocean/Coast owners have noticed this. I also have the van booked into dealership to have the aux heater checked as it has randomly flagged “aux heater error “ on a about 3 occasions and locked out the heating for about 30 mins with a red triangle on the camping control panel.

The ambient temp is warm….how long since you filled up?

Yes but it was warm a few days ago and I dumped it yesterday and filled fresh with 20L on water at around 14:00 yesterday and it was warm this morning.

The diesel heating internal works are in the cupboard that the battery is in. In turn this makes the cupboard above warm as we discovered when we had food in it. The battery cupboard is beside the water tank/gas bottle cupboard which also gets warm. This is why your water will seem warm if diesel heater has been on.

Interested about the diesel heating fault as we have had this a couple of times when the diesel heater has been running all night in sub zero temperatures. I will get it looked at when the van is in for a service as the diesel heater won't be used over the summer.
