This was our set up this week at waterside house camping in Ulswater. Not sure id go back - nothing particularly wrong but not enough facilities for numbers, just not our cup of tea as a site really. It didn’t help we had some pretty dreadful weather sadly.

I've been there a couple of times. Also not a fan. Had some arsehole park so close to the van I couldn't open the tailgate. Don't worry I told him. Too expensive again and too busy with weekend campers. It's OK on a Monday. Used to be able to stay behind the sun inn. But that's stopped now . Better up glenridding way at side or syke farm.

So, here we are on a campsite near Cardigan. Today we are a week now in England/Wales. From Harwich ( by ferry Hoek van Holland) to Shrewsbury (lovely town) via Snowdonia on to Caernarfon, Portmadog, Aberdaron (WF 7/8 during the night) and yesterday on campsite Barmouth.
We have seen lot's of rain, hard winds but also sunshine and most important beautiful places up till now. Let's go for another two weeks and most certainly Penbroke national park.

For anyone interested this is a fabulous hiking area in the lake district.no facilities or hook up. Toilets and cafe during the day. I will definitely be staying here soon

Honister. my thoughts. just stayed here theres a couple of issues with it.you arrive after 5pm ,6.30 in my case,so its shut. no signs saying where overnight should be. it says 'bottom car park' but this i thought was national trust for the yha. i think they now mean the overflow where the machinery is. there is a generator there running all night. i parked in the top car park. theres no phone signal to ring anyone to check. the next day i hiked up great gable returning around lunch, now bear in mind they want a fiver to park for the day, so i was expecting issues with this, but no drama this time. in dry weather, it is VERY dusty and also suffers from boy racer w4ankers late on (what's wrong with these people, go to the pub for christs sakes and talk to some girls! ) , probably worse at weekends,but they all went home to mummy around 10.30. a good stop off if your stuck but a few things there for you all to think about. i never used the cafe or bogs. Pics are sunset from fleetwith summit and morning on great gable looking over wast water. Made it all worth it in the end.
top tip ,pay online while you have signal and screen shot or note down your ref and booking numbers to display on your dashboard.

Staying near Strumble Head Pembrokeshire.Started to rain as we crossed into Wales and has yet to stop. 20 mph speed limit is a real pain.

A quick overnight getaway to Toogoolawah, Queensland, Australia. Cold for Oz… got down to 4 degrees, so tried the diesel heater on setting 6 - fabulous! We also did a 40km round trip on our e-bikes on a disused rail trail… beautiful scenery… and a great lunch midway too… and the two bikes fold up and store neatly in the back of the Cali. Loving the opportunities for outdoors adventures that this van has opened up for us!

Nice awning tent. We have the same I think. Yours looks very symetrical and plumb, ... do you have to adjust if there is rain (flat awning roof?). I struggle with setting a fall on the awning roof and putting all 3 sides on
