Probably missing a pool if you have younger kids but we’ll definitely be returning as it’s in a great position to explore north Cornwall and Devon.

Thank you Little Red. Sounds like that might be our May break sorted then.
 
Posting a few weeks late, but this is our inaugural trip in Myfanwy - 2 adults, a 17 year old and 2 biggish doggos. We survived, didn't kill each other, and learnt masses...like how to mark your parking position so that when you return at night you can line up with the awning without too much drama (we learned this on the second night - the first night i was relieved to have zero witnesses to my faffing about).
Campsite was perfect for us (Combas Farm in Putsborough) and close enough to home to make it a regular haunt I hope.
Dog sleeping arrangements were tricky, so any tips gratefully received...the husband fled to the Cinch and slept in there with one of them as the van bed was a little busy with 2 adults, 2 dogs and much moaning about who's hogged all the duvet.
As a shakedown trip it was great, we learned a lot, and not much beats waking up to warm Spring sunshine in a dewy field in the West Country.

Some highlights of the rest of our improvised Easter trip on the West Coast of Ireland.

Stayed at the Doolin campsite on Day 2 for a shower. Lovely view from the pitch (but an otherwise unremarkable campsite):

Tried to visit the cliffs of Moher on Day 3 but it was pouring rain with zero visibility when we got there. Decided that there was no point and that we’d be better off at the pub.

While at the pub, saw on Park4night that you can park overnight for free at the official cliffs of Moher car park. So we did this. Not the most glamorous place but super quiet and had a great night:

And that means we were able to get in first thing the next day. Which turned out to be a good idea as, from 11am when all the buses arrive, the place gets jammed-packed and quite unpleasant. Even the car park is full and people keep driving around in circles waiting for a space to free up.

Green acre campsite for another shower after that. Nice little place - lovely owner. Mostly for mobile homes. But the spot for campers is in a prime location along the water.

For our last night, we went to sleep at Cloher Strand on the Dingle peninsula. This is by far and away the most stunning spot I’ve ever stayed at. And one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever seen. It was incredible.

From there, you can take a 30 minutes cliff-side walk where everything is breathtakingly beautiful. An unreal place.

We and a backpacker in a tent were the only ones there at night.

Camped at Kookaburra Park Campground just north of Deepwater in NSW Australia. Fabulous campground with wallabies, parrots and other wild birds. But also came with a variety of farm yard friends (horse, Angora goats, chooks) that barged into our morning coffee time…

Ah yes, South of Bude, along the Canal - which is a lovely walk....

Versos - 9/10
Marked it down a point as its a faff folding, but that's me being harsh. More a 9.5

Its a great bit of kit, and being able to have the porch wherever you want it and still get in the van is... well so versatile.
Perfect size for us and the dog.
Table and chairs, BBQ, Dog crate, washing up bits, cable bag, we shove it all in there to max out the room.
We removed the bedroom pod completely, which by the way is a decent size and have only used the driveaway connection 50% of the time (OK, so once - we've only had two outings :veryfunny) but it literally zips on/off in seconds, and is loose enough take on/off thre van but not loose so it sags - tensioners help this. We keep it in the bag so we can decide if we want it on/off.

Soooo easy to erect. Literally minutes. Two tubes to 7PSI
Pegging out - we do the 4 ground corners, the two main guylines away from the van and the porch ones.
As I said, folding is a faff due to the shape and elastic covers over zips but given we have done it 3 or 4 times its getting easier. Fold outside edges over a 1/4 both sides and then over on top of each other (groundsheet to groundsheet) then roll/fold.
The bag is generously oversized.
Fits under the rear shelf once other bits are loaded so its first out.
Wouldn't be without it.
