Late night under the Milky Way at River Dart Country Park. If you have children and haven’t been here yet - I guarantee they’ll have a blast. 6th visit for us and no matter what the weather, we’ve made some fantastic memories every single time.

Misty morning Jungfrau.
Very wet underfoot after torrential rain for most of yesterday. Duckboards essential. First morning so not yet explored.
We opted for a larger 'comfort' pitch on the slopes. We probably could have maxed out the wind-out awning to make a bigger covered space but opted to leave space for an outside table, assuming the weather improves.

Interesting. From where did you board the train?

Our trip from Helsinki to Rovianiemi was a covered train.

This may be a very good option for a planned trip to Italy as well.

This is a very short shuttle … about 45min to shortcut a mountain road

We boarded at Santa Lucia di Tolmino (now renamed Most Na Soči).

wow... how long was the exposure?

Light the citronella candle and liberally apply the Avon skin so soft, breakout the marmite for the toast and you'll be fine!
ha ha, being west coast based they were much worse than that, smidge and candles only go to so far, like Smidge forecast 3-4 this was level 5 so physical barrier territory like a head net and full body cover. It was only the windless side so the VW fly screens ( with midge net fitted) did the job on both sides, this meant in the morning driving a short distance to " clear the Cling on's" and removed the screens, the
cast of thousands of midge had drowned in the dew :pinkbanana
Smidge forecast
