Tyre Pressure Query - 255/45ZR20 105W

Purchsed a T6.1 2020 recently with larger wheels and on Nankang Cross Sport SP-9 255/45ZR20 105W tyres.
Seem to be set at 38psi but what I can gleam from the internet some people run them at 44/45 psi.
Anyone have any recommendation for correct pressure?

Really hard to say. 18in are at 44/45psi but 20in would be an unknown... if the profile was lower than I would say lower pressure, but as the width and profile is the same as for the 18in, I would probably go with the 44/45psi

Tyre load is the relevant metric here, not wheel/tyre size.

I would stick with the 44/45 psi which (I think) is the normal pressure for a Cali - it certainly is on our van anyway (a T5 with 19 inch wheels).

As you have Non-VW sized wheels it is difficult to advise what pressures to use. But there is an Old School method to determine if the pressures selected are OK.
You’ll need some Chalk.
Pump the tyres up to your preferred pressure 44/45 psi.
Mark a thick chalk line across the width of the front and rear tyres.
Go for a drive of 2-3 miles.
Examine the chalk marks.
A. If the whole chalk mark has gone or faded along the whole width - tyre pressure satisfactory for that load.
B. If the centre of the chalk mark has gone then the tyre pressures are too high for the load.
C. If the edges of the chalk mark across the tyre width have worn away then the tyre pressures are too is too low for the load.

Repeat at different pressures until you replicate A front and rear.
