Tooenjoy kayak roofrack with lift assist

Has anyone experience of the https://www.tooenjoy.com/products_detail/6.html kayak rack with lift assist? It seems much cheaper than the Thule, KariTek and other alternatives available in the UK. I can't find any information specific to use with the VW Transporter body type, reviews mainly from the US seem positive.

No experience (this is the first I have heard of them) and I havent seen anyone using these sort of horizontal racks at any places I've been. Cheaper if only carrying one kayak but would need to buy 2 and the base bars to carry 2 boats. (same issue with the Thule). On a California will it actually give enough of a drop down the side to make loading easy?
Have you considered the Kombi Rak ? Similar to the Kari-tek but much better engineered (by @Johnboy ) and executed. Some photos of mine in this thread:

Hi All, First time VW camper here, I'm picking up a 2020 Coast on Saturday and very excited about it. I intend to purchase the Thule Hullavator for a sea kayak as I prefer it to the kari tech rack. From reading the various threads it seems I need the Thule evo pro bar + 753 mount + 7057 kit...

Kombi-rak facebook page gives e-mail contact (info@vixxos.com). Or message through facebook.

Word of mouth sales at the moment. I would not keep up with demand with full blown website.

I will soon have a high lift version for a Crafter also.
