Tailgate wont open form outside

Good evening all. I've got an issue that i cant open the tailgate at all. the handle operates and the central locking seems to work.
Can anybody offer any advise or the name of a garage that can sort this issue. I'm currently away in Scotland id be willing to pay if somebody knew exactly how to fix it. I would use the search but that seems to have a server issue of its own.
