T7 Ocean Drive away awning not clear of door.

Just recently forgot to put door on manual with driveaeay awning attached resulting in door tearing side of entry flap.
Has anybody any ideas on lifting the driveaeay kador free of the top of the door. I know you can use the sun canopy but this then prevents you using both awning & sun canopy at same time.
Have see rubber attachments for top of the door on T6’s but cannot see these working on T7 sharp glass door tops.

Open the awning about 10cm and it should clear but you still can’t open the front door. Alternatively, the kador strip can be connected to the top of the awning. I have never done this but there are a couple of threads about it in the forum.

We have a Vango cove3 air and have no issues as long as it’s in the right position. I don’t turn off the doors.
