Storage Tips Please

We've been watching countless youtube videos on gadgets and what to take and cannot believe how much 'stuff' people pack in their van!

We came from a T4 where 4 of us would travel and defiintely found out less is more. When I say less, I was still taking 2 surfboards, 2 paddleboards, 4 bodyboards and 4 bikes, so everything else had to stay behind, certainly no coffee machines, dehumidifiers or oil radiators!!!

Seriously though, less is more. If you've got too much stuff, it just becomes difficult moving things around to get to what you want. You need it to be seamless to make it easy.

Having just got the Cali, there's a s**t ton more space about the van in general (although the cupboard for clothes is tiny compared to what we had previously).

As a note, we're Suffolk too (near Lowestoft)

The best bit of advice that I got, and has been repeated on this thread. Don't go out and buy everything straight away.

Buy the minimal you'll need to survive.
Go and do a couple of 1-2 night camps (we did ours locally).
Figure out what your missing/what would make your life easier.
Come back to the forum and find a solution to your needs.

Effectively, have a good shakedown and buy according to your needs, this will definitely save you money, and stop you lugging around gear you never use.
Thank you rpamely
Sage advice.
