Hi I am due to pick up my New 25 Grand Cali next week.... cant wait. Can anyone who has fitted a" Disklok" please advise on what size they went for. The lock comes in two sizes :
Small 35 cm to 39cm
Medium 39 to 44 etc.

I have measured the width of the Grand California 600 steering wheel and it comes out about 38.5cm

My question is has anyone fitted these, I am concerned that the "small size" might be a bit tight and perhaps damage/scuff the steering wheel or buttons
where as the larger one might be a bit loose, also there is a bit of price difference so don't want to buy the bigger one if its not needed.

Any feed back from someone who has one would be appreciated.
Thanks

Just for info, I finally bought the small size disklok and it fits perfect, even on its tightest clip the disklok can still rotate without being hindered by the steering wheel. I would however suggest you buy the sock to protect the steering wheel from potential rub marks.

On another note has anyone had any issues with the shower door and water running out of the sides on to the kitchen floor.... ,might be a little warped at the bottom and not sitting tight on the door frame. If I cant fix it easy then I will be asking VW to order a new door.

Enjoy your new GC
I fitted a suitable profile to the bottom of the door. Now it drains into the shower tray.

Thanks Paul, I will have a look at this, my only concern is that the door from the handle down appears to bow out ever so slightly and water appears to run down the gap and drip/pour from the corner, the strip you fitted finishes short of the corner to allow the door to close - so not sure that will cure it. I did think i might need a dreaded shower curtain to cover the door aperture but that almost defeats the object - I hate the sticky shower curtains.

I have a Bearlock fitted on my van. Nothing to store and no rubbing on the steering wheel
