Small lighting concern

More of an irritation than a problem.
We have all experienced the temperamental lighting of our vehicles. Princess Doris ( 6.1 ) is no different. If I have a rogue light that won't go off, I go to the overhead control panel, select
" Light Settings " and press " Switch off living area lights "
That normally turns off all lights in the living area.
However, for a few weeks now, the small light in the rear storage cabinet/wardrobe will not go off. It used to go off when you closed the doors. Not now. Just stays on all the time.

There is a metal spring lever on the hinge with the vanity mirror attached. Sometimes that needs adjusting back into place.

Sounds like there is a switch on the door somewhere what isn’t working, just my thoughts as I haven’t any experience of this.

My ‘metal spring lever’ had been caught by some bedding I was stowing in that cupboard, producing the problem posting #1 (as posting #2 above describes). After bending back to the correct position I now protect that spring lever with some gaff tape ( back to back in the zone of the lever).

Ditto, exactly the same problem I had and solved it the exactly same way. However, maybe someone could find the part number for that hinge so I could replace it when the problem surfaces again?

Thanks for the feedback. I found the switch. Same problem, the wire had caught on bedding and twisted out of position. I've deactivated for now until I can repair it.
