Sliding window parts compatability

I've come to the conclusion I need to bite the bullet and replace the entire sliding window or at least the slider part. I have tried all of the various fixes (cleaning the seals, cleaning the drains, silicone grease on the seals, replacing the latch pins, turning the worn front pin 180 degrees) but still have issues with leaking. It seems the seal is simply no longer pushed hard enough against the fixed glass and too much water gets in.
So I have two options, replace the full window, or get hold of the slider part and see if that helps.
My van is a T5, if replacing the full window are the T5, T5.1 and T6 windows all the same? They have different part numbers, but look pretty much the same. Could I put a T6 one in my T5.
Same question for the slider part, would later versions fit my T5?
I know the T6.1 has a different style of catch, is everything else the same? Would that also fit?
Thanks

Edit: Found part of the answer. Full T6 window will fit in T5. Just need to make sure I get the glass type correct to match. To me the glass in my van looks clear, but I assume this is green tint as I think only green was offered in 2008. Build sticker doesn't tell me unfortunately. Is there any other way to tell?

i have a pair of t6 window panes from a caravelle or some twin slider van I think (that were removed and replaced with non-openeners becasue the factory one leak..) - I plan to offer them up against mt T5 and see if they are any better.

I am actually tempted to run a bead of clear CT1 around both of them and solve the problem forever - I never open the damn things and all they do is cause me problems. This weeks problem is mould in the kitchen where the kitchen window had leaked over winter...

From reading various threads I think @AlistairC used a T6 window in his T5 and all
fitted fine.
I’m tempted with sealing permanently too as a temporary measure while I save / mentally prepare to spend on new windows!

Any recommendations for who may be able to fit new windows around the Bath / Bristol area other than VW. There are numerous van conversion companies, so having some steer is always helpful rather than just relying on Google!
