The hinge for the table leg has been getting progressively loose and wobbly with use. A closer inspection revealed a number of the rivets had become loose. NB the hinge itself is undamaged and working unlike other threads on here. To dismount the table from the kitchen there are two fixings which can be undone from the underside of the table using a 3mm hex tool. Disconnect the hinge bolt to give better access to the plastic hinge and remove the loose rivets. I then used 3.2 x 8 mm blind rivets as the best fit, they are slightly longer than the depth of hole in the table, but pull up flush and tight. I did also use a little "no more nails" adhesive between the hinge and the table surface for extra strength. Finally I noticed the rubber O rings on the two fixings were perished so took the opportunity to replace, I used a 25mm OD x 19mm ID x 3mm width.
