Shelf / small table for Beach when bed is made downstairs

Hi, I’ve made the move from a T6 Ocean to a New California Beach recently, and so far all good. . One thing I am missing from the T6, that I didn’t foresee, is having a small flat surface to set stuff (cup of tea, bottle of water etc) on when the lower bed is made up. The window panniers are great for things like books, clothes etc, but I’m really missing having a flat shelf somewhere. Has anyone come across anything that would work for this please?

We’ve use this, it stores on the bed and is just a shaped piece of plywood but is only practical as we sleep downstairs.

We have made the same. Store in roof.
