My driver's seat is now worn quite badly. Instead of spending a million pounds on a new seat/chair could anyone recommend a good seat cover That is comparable in looks to the attached colour scheme etc?

Thank you in advance.

I have Brandrup covers which are made of the same material as your factory upholstery. They serve me well for 3 years...washable and easy to refit. I have them up front and in the back as well (for dogs). Very happy with them. Brandrup recently had them on sale (and that is good) through selected dealers.

Just to illustrate, not your color and pattern and maybe you do not have Beach.... but anyway. contact Brandrup in Germany and they m right help you find a dealer who has what you need at the great price. BTW, I shop at this shop in austria a lot... my van came from them and many items afterwards.

Thank you. I will give them a go.

Same and they've been brilliant

Off the back of this post I did a quick search and found this German site doing them and middle seat very cheap (although low stock). The only issue is they don't deliver to the UK but hopefully it could be useful to someone on the forum.

I have a set of matching Brandrup Second Skin covers that match these perfectly.

Happy to sell them if you’re interested.

You can buy the Seat cover from campervantastic that look same as the California seats. Mine was a full set back and front about £500.

We have them for about 3 years and still very happy with the design, quality and looks.....

Very happy with our seat covers t6.1 ocean from Californiaclub if you have £800 to spend.

They look very good! Do you find that they get hotter in the sun than leather? I suppose you won’t be certain unless you had one chair plastic and one leather in the same vehicle, but maybe you have another car with leather seats to be able to make the comparison. Similarly, do you sweat more? My last vehicle with plastic seats was a Mark II Cortina and my memory is not that good! :D

+1 for Ukatex.

These have been on for over 2 1/2 years and show no signs of wear.

Loads of different choices/fabrics as @Calibus007belgium mentions.

If going for fabric we would want to remove and wash them once or twice a year. Have you done this? Is it easy to remove and refit? Or, is fitting a long job? Also, any shrinkage?
I've not needed to remove the covers yet for washing. Any marks we've had have just sponged out with a bit of soapy water.

Likewise, as they have never been washed, I can't comment on shrinkage.

I think it probably took me an hour or so to fit them. Taking my time to get them nice and tight. Several people have commented on the seat trim and thought they were the original seats, or that the seats had been reupholstered. The fit is really very good.

I can't see a problem in removing/refitting them as everything was velcro or cord ties from memory.

No shrinking when washed at 30 degrees. Fitting the first time takes some time, second time a lot faster . We wash them usually once a year, up till now 2 times. During the year we use a stain remover spray, works good as well. IMG_7108.jpeg

We have a set of Ukatex, good quality VS price, washable, a lot of prints and fabrics available.
Hi, I’ve taken a look at the website. Do the front seat covers also cover the arm rests? It doesn’t seem so from the photos. Thank!

Oops sorry, they do cover arms rests, I had not seen your photos.

These do look extremely good value for money. I've sent them a question regarding their faux leather vs fabric. I see the former (plastic I assume) as being easier to clean and probably no need to remove, but they might potentially get hot and sticky in the summer. Decisions decisions. Were you happy enough with customer service?

Has anyone else used this firm and maybe selected the faux leather?

Customer service was excellent and they sent updates as the order progressed.
They took around a month to arrive. I placed the order on 14/03/24 and they arrived 15/04/24.

Good contact. before placing the order for additional questions. As during the process, they ask for pictures of the Seats so the Seat covers can be made to fit perfect for instance airbag, bags accessible on the back. We had a really good experience with the company. head rests and arm rests come with it

Not surprisingly they will get hot in direct sun on a hot day, not sure how this would compare with real leather.
Not noticed being more sweaty than the original cloth seats.
I like it that you can kind of slide on and off the seats getting in and out.
